I'd like to say that this site is now complete. I hope it gives encouragement to those women who wish to cut their hair short as well as their male partners who have too long considered it culturally 'strange' to be attracted to females who cut their hair short. I hope that I have, in my own little way, been part of the movement that confronts the fashion industry's assumption that long hair automatically equals 'beauty and femininity'.
I must also add that this is not a 'glamour' or 'fashion' site. Fashion and glamour seem to me to be transient and transparent concepts . I'm more interested in the eternity of style, grace and beauty, not that which is 'in vogue' and hope that this comes over in the content of the site. Each picture of a haircut is chosen because I like it. Maybe you'll like it. maybe you won't but I hope there is a bit of something here for everyone!
Oh yeah, and I'll admit there are some women who do look better with long hair. English Hollywood actress, Minnie Driver, for example.
Whatever, as I say, this site is practically complete. To the girls, I say be brave and try something new. You're only young once and your hair can always grow back! To the blokes who secretly long for their girlfriends to 'go short', be patient, tolerant and understanding. Old habits (long hair = beauty and romance, short hair = dull office practicality, blah blah blah) die hard, but the aesthetic, tactile and geometrical beauty of short hair on women, that merits and enhances their facial features, will eventually prevail.
